Setting up the blog

I tried it a few times and always had a reason not to do it, push it out or do something else.
Now I think it is time to actually do it: Setting up my travel blog.
Before I've been looking at many different options, blogspot, this and that, but today I just typed in "travelblog free" into google, and this one came up. It said National Geographic on it.. so, I said it must be good. "Well done", marketing department!

Anyhow! What should I be writing about in my blog?
It's originally intended to keep you, my friends and family up to date on my adventures abroad, that should kick off in September 2014, but since I am going on a trip next week and will need to get some practice and especially some patience to write this blog, I thought this might just be the chance to train that.

So, now I'm sitting here on my comfortable couch using the fully charged laptop and my own wifi. These should be idea conditions to start off.

The first entry should for now only cover the reasons and intentions behind setting up the blog. I guess that's covered above and I can now publish it.
