In the Iron Path

For my last day in Sydney some of the enthusiasm was gone I guess, and in fairness I think I have seen most of the things that needed to be seen in this great City.

I had a ticket booked for the night train to Melbourne, which meant I would have to leave at 7pm to get to Sydney Central.

So I spent most of my day with Packing and waiting.

Around 6pm Karsten came back from work, I said goodbye to Lulu and Karsten brought me to the tram station and sent me off.

Arriving at the large train station on time I still had some time to get some food and find my platform. Platform 1.

At 20:32, right on time we started rolling out west through the dark countryside of New South Wales and into Victoria.

I had a bit of a chatty neighbour sitting next to me but after he spotted a couple of empty seats across the isle he chose to stretch out there.

This gave me the chance to copy and sort some pictures.

The sleep was not really comfy on the seats of the train but eventually I faded off.
