I was pretty wrecked from the long day in the humid jungle yesterday and had not much on today, so it was not surprising that I woke late and didn't leave my capsule before 10am. I got a coffee and there were still a few of the little fried doughballs left.
My only set goal for the day was to pick up my visa at 11:30 at the Vietnamese Embassy.
After I arrived at the embassy it wasn't long until I got to the counter where I should be picking up my Visa. However the guy looked through multiple boxes with many passports from all kind of countries but couldn't find mine. A bit worried (but not very surprised) I sat down and waited (5 minutes to the guys estimate).
Luckily I brought my book and read a bit. And indeed it was not even one chapter until I got called up to the window again and he gave me my Passport with my Visa.
I was pretty hungry now and decided to pass by my favourite mall again to pick up the same delicious Spicy Chicken with Cashew nuts meal for 30 Baht again, I had yesterday evening.
The mall and food court was much busier now and the food took only a few seconds to come to me.
Unfortunately it was nowhere as good as yesterday. But hey it was still the same price (can't complain about a meal for 75 cent).
Back at the hostel I decided to use some of the time I had to day to do some washing. I got the little bag of washing powder and filled up the machine and turned it on. I had 55 minutes.
I could be doing some catch up on the blog writing and photo copying and uploading the entries to let everyone see what I've been doing the last couple of days.
Before I did that I made sure to reserve some bus tickets for the next morning to go to Siem Reap in Cambodia through the helpful hostel staff.
It was my last day in Thailand and I wanted to have some proper Thai food before I left. I looked up a nice place on tripadvisor that specialized in Isan (north eastern Thailand) which ranked #22 in Bangkok (but second offering thai food) for dinner tonight.
In order to spark the appetite a little more I watched "No reservations - Thailand" and walked about 4 km over to the place.
It was called Tamnak Restaurant and I can really recommend it.
On the digestion walk back to the hostel I saw a bus parked in the middle of the main street being repaired by some welders right there.
After all this laziness I decided to have some proper adventurous action!!! So I climbed back into my Capsule and turned on my laptop to watch "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom". Sometimes this is just what you need after a lazy day in Bangkok!
