It was time for a little lie in as our bus only left around 11 or so.
So we could sleep until 8:30, work out some last things on the internet, get some breakfast, pack up our stuff and head over to the bus station.
The ride back to Punta Arenas was the same as over here... endless landscapes... from this very lonely road we were travelling, there were still smaller roads (or rather tracks) turning off... I couldn't imagine how lonely they would be and where the hell they would lead to.
We travelled for three or four hundred kilometres and passed the houses of maybe 300 people.
In Germany you couldn't travel more then 5 kilometres without passing that many people anywhere.
Border checks at Cerro Castillo were straight forward again and we were back in Chile and soon after arrived in Puerto Natales.
We had to wait an hour and a half for our next bus to Punta Arenas, so we dropped off our large backpacks at a storage and went back into town for some food.
Unfortunately the Burger/Beer Place Baguales was not open yet and we had to settle on some pizza... It was a very nice pizza though.
The next trip from here to Punta Arenas was another 3 hours on the bus but because of good planning it arrived just around the corner of our B&B, not even 3 minutes walk.
We dropped our bags in the room and headed out to our local, Lomit's. The place we had been on our first visit to Punta Arenas.
This evening it was much busier.. Colo Colo (the Bayern Munich of Chile) was playing a Mexican Team (Atlas) in the Copa Americana - I think this is the South American Champions League.
Great... we had been talking about finding a place to watch a game in South America... once again it all worked out perfectly.
The big Lomits (Pork Burger) and the beers came soon after we had found a place between all the other people and Colo Colo won the game.
Another good evening at the end of the world.
