St. Patrick de Chile

My usual routine had begun. Get up, coffee, go to school. Puh, just on time again today.
I was quite surprised how much of yesterdays lessons had stuck. We just had a (very basic) conversation in Spanish in our class room.
It was the same schedule as yesterday, Ricardo in the morning and then the girl after the break.
For lunch I went back to the hostel and did went for a little nap on one of the couches. Although it was very comfortable and the nap was certainly necessary at this point I forced myself up for the afternoon class.
Today's class was a discussion round with people from all levels (me being the only one from the beginners level).
There were 8 of us and we all had to introduce ourselves and tell the group where we were from, what we were doing in Chile and what our hobbies were.
Then the other guys were asking us questions and we tried to understand them and answer. It was surprising how much I understood and could make up after just two days of classes.
After class I went home and was joined by Matias a little while later. We went back to the burger bar for dinner and of course.... given the date we went to "Dublin", the local Irish pub for a pint of Guinness. It was St. Patrick's day after all.
It was not really anything to brag about. The bar was full of people wearing green shirts and silly hats but it was far away from the atmosphere in an actual Irish pub in Ireland. Everyone was sitting on their chair chatting to their friends, no one was standing up and with their pint in their hand , it felt a bit like a restaurant or something. Quite strange... this whole experience call up a little bit of home sickness in me...
There was no need to stay around much longer. Matias had another job interview in the morning and I had to go to school, so we called it a day and headed home.
Back at the hostel, my plan to take it easy, catch up on the blog for a bit and get some early sleep was once again destroyed by my new Peruvian friends who invited me up to the rooftop for a chat. It was a late night once again!
